About the Maybe Somedays

the Maybe Somedays is a new folk duo established by best friends and former roommates Olive Klug and Haley Schwartz. While on tour supporting Olive's eponymous solo project, Haley and Olive were having one of their frequent existential musings about romance and the meaning of life when Haley said "I don't know how many maybe somedays I have left". Olive said, "hey that's a good lyric, or a good band name", and the rest is history. Olive and Haley continued to write songs and scheme about their duo throughout their adventures in the American Southeast. After a very serendipitous Halloween night in Asheville where producer Lawson Alderson did an impromptu recording of the friends' new song in their halloween costumes at 2am, the band was officially inaugurated.
